Regarding: Basis Adjustments and 1099 Total

The best place to apply a basis adjustment is to a transaction. For example you can open one of the transactions and add a basis adjustment. This is typically applied to opening trades. The 1099 typically shows Sale transactions and is not affected by a basis adjustment.

View: 1099

That total should match the 1099. If it does not then the difference is between the values reported by the broker in the 1099 and the values delivered in the data. Maybe a trade is missing.
