Fidelity Sync Results Comments:

1. Regarding the Sync request and response. TA will send a request using the range provide in the configuration. If sync is set to automatic then it requests data from the last date to present. If set to manual then it requests the range provided in Sync/Change Sync Download Range.

2. The reply could be a different range than the request. When an OFX server responds to a sync request it will prove data based on its rules. for example if the server can't provide a specific date range it may reply with a logical alternative.

Here is a way to see the dialog. Within TAPro select CTRL-L and log the sync dialog. When finished then select CTRL-L to stop logging. Then send the file to us for review. In your email, confirm the date range of your request (was it manual or automatic).

Tell us the results you expected in TA including reference to a particular symbol. We can study the file and confirm the dialog between TA and the server. We use this to determine the best improvement approach.

3. Regarding Duplicates during Sync. If TA finds trades with the same ID then it will treat them as duplicates and write them to a file. You can open that file for review. You can also manually import that file. Some servers do a poor job of managing ids, this can cause problems because TA relies on the accuracy of the provided data.

4. Regarding Expired Options. When a Call or Put option expires it is possible the reply contains an Expire trade. If the trades are reliable and TA is not picking up these trades then notify us and provide a sample log file. We will study this and provide a reply.
