Error While Importing Fidelity - runtime error: program

Problem:
I downloaded the Excel/.csv history file (a qtr at a time) from Fidelity as you had suggested and placed the files on my desktop. I was able to import 4th qtr of 2009 and the 1st qtr of 2010 into TradeAccountant Pro without a hitch. When I tried to import the 2nd qtr of 2010 I received a message saying "runtime error: program :...iles\syncessentials\tradeaccountantpro_3.7\tapor.exe abnormal termination" and then the program shuts down when I click okay on the error message box. I tried several times but to no avail; I get the same message and it shuts down. I also tried doing the same on my laptop (2nd computer) just to see if it would work but it also did not work - it also gives the same error message and shuts down. What course of action should I take now.

Solution:
Hi Again, I just figured out how to stop the run-time error, I just sent an email about this problem. I just had to delete any info that was not trade related in the .csv file e.g. fund transfers, margin interest etc. It seems to be okay now.

Comment:
We have submitted this to engineering so they can trap the error and ignore trades types that are not recognized. We built an automatic parser that attempt to finish the import based on assumptions. In this case it encountered unexpected information.
